Spears now more happy and mature
After many tumultuous events in her life, American pop princess Britney Spears is now back with on her toes to continue her glittering career and leave her experiences behind. In a recent interview, Spears who rose to fame at such young age admitted her past mistakes and revealed she already learned from it.
Spears said after what happened in her life she is very grateful that the world is giving her a second chance to continue with her career amidst the controversies she faced in life. “A lot of people thought I wouldn’t make it. People thought I was finished, didn’t they?” Britney said.
The pop princess said now that the storm had finally stopped she had already matured and is now happy and contented with her life.
“I’m not sad any more", the pop princess said.
She said her family especially her parents and her two young boys were the ones that inspired her to get back to her bearing and moved on from the bad things that happen in her life. Spears cited the efforts of her father to bring her back to her senses as one of the factors that brought her back to the mainstream of the entertainment industry.
Aside from her family and kids, one man that makes Spears happy these days is her reported boyfriend and agent Jason Trawick. In many various occasions, the two were seen showing each other affection the latest of whom was in Bahamas where the couple and Spear's children had a brief getaway.
The close relationship of the two even fuelled persistent reports that they will soon tie the knot. However, a close associate of Spears deny such rumors saying the reported 2009 December wedding of the two are not true. The associate who refused to be named said that although the two love each other dearly they have no plans yet to get married soon.
If indeed the two will enter the sacrament of matrimony, it would be the third time that the pop princess will be married. Spears was previously married to childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander on January 3, 2004, at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. The marriage lasted 55 hours, ending with an annulment stating that Spears "lacked understanding of her actions to the extent that she was incapable of agreeing to marriage because before entering into the marriage the Plaintiff and Defendant did not know each others' likes and dislikes, each others' desires to have or not have children, and each other's desires as to State of residency.
In July 2004, Spears announced her engagement to Kevin Federline, three months after they met. Federline had recently been in a relationship with actress Shar Jackson, who was eight months pregnant with their second child. These initial stages were chronicled in Spears's first reality show Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, which aired on UPN in May and June 2005.
On the night of September 18, Spears married Federline in a surprise, non-denominational ceremony at a residence in Studio City, California, filing legal papers on October 6. After the marriage, Spears announced via her website that she would be taking another career break to start a family. She gave birth to her first child, Sean Preston Federline, nearly one year later, on September 14, 2005 in Santa Monica, California by a scheduled caesarean section.
First, they had to realize that it was a problem if they couldn't walk through the room without stepping on toys. Legos in the night, on the floor--pain is a motivator! Next, they needed to be convinced that their participation in cleaning their room was a good idea. Then, they had to be trained in how to clean their rooms and learn what all was included. "We'll put all the books on the shelf, and the stuffed animals over here." Then, they needed opportunities to practice their skills, try out new ways of doing things, and get better at cleaning their rooms. "I can pick up the Legos faster if I push the Lego bin around the room rather than carrying each Lego separately over to the bin on the shelf." Finally, it helped if someone was there to do it with them. It was harder to drift into some alternative activity if others were there working--and cleaning the room could be fun if you did it together!
The Mission and the Church
I would like to share with you some of my notes. These notes have been directly cut and pasted from the file marked “Missional Church Notes”, these important and detailed notes were written during class, and they have not been altered in any way:
“The church doesn’t have a mission, the mission has a church. The church doesn’t have a mission, the mission has a church. The church doesn’t have a mission, the mission has a church. The church doesn’t have a mission, the mission has a church. The church doesn’t have a mission, the mission has a church.”
Rather than saying more about what I believe the foundation and implications of this is, I would love to hear from you. If, indeed, the church does not have a mission, the mission has a church; how does this change our values and behaviors?
